Roadtrip 2021-2022 Winter: Seaside - Yachats - Brookings

Day 19 - Cape Sebastian, Myer's Beach

We take a back country drive way up on the heights of the Carpenterville Hwy. Drove the whole route - no Carpenterville was found. Nice view though.

View from Cape Sebastian.

Usually found only in the jungles of Brazil, we stumble across this mighty specimen of the rebar bush. This ecosystem is amazing.

Hobbit Hole. Comes with Hobbit.

The Renewed Topographics is taking shape.

Of course, this is the only purpose for going to the beach.

Same purpose, saner dogs.

There ain't nuthin' like Saturday evening at the beach.

The 2022 Invertebrates 24-hour Novel Writing Contest has started.

There was a tsunami advisory up today for an eruption in Tonga. Not a ripple.

Always be on the lookout for those sneaky waves.

A couple of hours back up the beach in Bandon, there will be an army of photographers fighting over the perfect spot. This guy is all by himself. Smart guy.
